Why Research

Good health and well-being is not straight forward as people think, like exercise and healthy eating.  It is more complicated than that. There is a difference between understanding the symptoms (results) and the actual causes of any physical or mental illness. For example, you eat 5 a day and exercise everyday. Do you know what your food contains or what was sprayed on the crops by farmers? Are you on Universal Credit and cannot afford food or the cost of living? Is this making you depressed and stressed where you are reliant upon anti-depressants from your GP? Do you have a hormonal or electrolyte imbalance?  Do you actually know what vitamins you are need? Have you had a vitamin test from your GP? There is an absolute need for independent research into the impact of cost of living, demographics and well-being within the community.

Radical Re-think:

There is a need for a complete rethink on what is happening in the community regarding people’s health and well-being. This radical rethink requires research that includes the person’s age, sex, marital status, nationality, post code, occupation, income, council tax, water bill, electric bill, gas bill, medication, what they eat, drink, smoke and leisure activities. If the Parkinson’s research is correct it will also be necessary to consider if buildings should be fitted with water and air filters. Holistic research will reveal demographic hotspots occur regarding recurrent illness and pollution correlate. Restart My Health will use AI to analyse the data and combine this against the Behavioural Biometric data captured by HAST Medicare.

Why Research Matters:

Without independent research lives in the community cannot be improved, true care costs cannot be evaluated or targeted more effectively. Policies should be research led to ensure solutions are found to specific challenges within the community.

Restart My Life has a special interest in Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s Disease. Both are growing at an alarming rate, year upon year. Just under 1 million people have Alzheimer’s disease[1] (982,000) and 166,000 Parkinson’s patients.[2] Dr Ray Dorsey and Dr Michael Okun, advocate that the evidence is pointing towards toxins and there are 2 pathways of Parkinson’s Disease. One through the nose and through the stomach. The obvious link that needs to be explored is airborne spraying of crops (the nose) and how much toxins (pesticides) are in the vegetables we eat (stomach). How many people within the community suffer from Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s disease?

Medical Drugs and Side Effects:

It would be a mistake if Restart My Health did not take into account medications ,their side effects and the effects of the local economy within the community. By identifying the medications people take within the community, it will be possible to determine the additional costs to the community. Currently this type of research is not conducted or whether alternative therapies or natural medicines would provide a more cost effective solution.
